The Huntingdonshire Community Group is in main a community development group run by volunteers. Its main aim is to contribute towards an inclusive and diverse Huntingdonshire from an economic and social view of point; through increasing the ability of residents to participate effectively in the continued development of their communities. From this viewpoint; we have a vision……………
THE VISION To work towards a cohesive community in Huntingdonshire where:
· There is a common vision and sense of belonging for all · People’s various backgrounds and circumstances are appreciated and valued · There are similar life opportunities for people from all backgrounds As people from a variety of backgrounds and starting points, we believe that we all have a variety of needs, hopes and aspirations. Therefore one solution cannot fit all members of the community. However by striving for and encouraging the provision of a flexible and adaptable approach, all members of the community could be enabled to fulfil and realise their true potential. |
